There is increasing pressure in this country to move toward renewable energy. As I have written recently, the big problem is the fact that energy is not only inefficient…it is also non-dispatchable! This article, written by Jonathan Tennenbaum illustrates the issues we can expect here in this country as the penetration of renewable energy grows. If we continue to move forward with renewables, we will end up relying more and more on sources of energy that cannot supply the power we need during times of high electrical demand!
